I've been trying to install a plugin for kopete that would let me use xfire on it. I follow the instructions list, but when I attempt to execute cmake through the conole it tells me "Cmake.lists is not present is home/neji49", when the file is actually in the directory. Why is it not finding it? I'm sorry but I'm a little new to Kubuntu, so sorry if this is really stupid.
Background Information: Kubuntu 10.10 http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/Xf ... 24073(link to plugin) If any other information would be helpful, just ask. |

It built fine here. Can you please post the full output of cmake? You are probably missing a needed debug package ( such as kopete-devel )

EDIT: So I was eventually able to piece together how to install the plug-in but now when I try to run the application, it either says "xfire has updated the games list to the latest version and is recconecting" and then freezes up, or perpetually says "connecting".

Unfortunate, the plugin could be incompatible with XFire, or only partly implemented. Have you tried under a new user to rule out configuration issues?
