[Dbus] Explanation.

Sat Dec 11, 2010 10:37 am
I will define custom gesture(shortcut to integrate via Klipper by D-Bus). When I select method from QDBusViewer all works, but I can't fill box in dialog.

I think, that remote application is org.kde.klipper, remote object is klipper and method is org.kde.klipper.klipper/showKlipperManuallyInvokeActionMenu (Interface+Method name), but this settings won't work.

Could anybody help me?

Ok. If somebody would try to do this, there's answer.

org.kde.klipper
/klipper
org.kde.klipper.klipper.showKlipperManuallyInvokeActionMenu

Does running the following command cause anything to happen? It doesn't here....
Code: Select all
qdbus org.kde.klipper /klipper showKlipperManuallyInvokeActionMenu

Command from above post works well. I had only used DBus and KHotKeys.

Is this problem solved? If not, try putting just "showKlipperManuallyInvokeActionMenu" as the function to call. If it is, please mark a post as solving this.
