When I open the Amarok Handbook I get the following

Code: Select all
The requested help file could not be parsed:<br/>/usr/share/doc/kde/html/en//amarok/index.docbook

I also see two entries for Amarok in the Help Center/Multimedia, neither of which works. K3b is also broken.

Is there an option to manually locate the file or repair the link?

You can find documentation online @ userbase.kde.org

Amarok 2.4 handbook that is being actively being updated http://userbase.kde.org/Amarok/Manual

K3b http://userbase.kde.org/K3b

OpenSuse Leap 42.1 x64, Plasma 5.x

Launching the manuals via Help->Handbook (F1) works properly with amarok 2.4 (kubuntu 10.10) resp. k3b 2.0.2 (compiled from sources) in a 4.6.0 environment, KHelpcenter opens the handbooks properly.
So this looks like a Arch Linux issue.

Wrt. the duplicated Amarok entry in KHelpCenter/Multimedia you are right, that is a bug caused by two amarok*.desktop files with a X-DocPath entry.

Thanks for the pointer.

Do you have docbook-xml and docbook-xsl installed? If not, does the situation change if you install them?
