I am a new user to Kububtu 10.10, I install the Kde on my desktop with the live/Install. That works fine. Can't find any info on how to Install other Packages (eg. Blender 4.9a) from the other nine DVDs. Xoe.

I am not sure what you mean by "other 9DVDs" , as Kubuntu is a single-disk distibution. But if you want to install software, you just need to use a package manager, this is called Kpackagekit, it can be found in the Kmenu >> Applications >> System. It can also be accessed from System Settings as Software Management. This tool will download and install your program, as well as any needed extra software it may need. You can search for Blender, and all sorts of other things as well ![]()
