I use editor environment with kubuntu 10.10 + kde 4.5.5 + vim 7.2 + konsole + klipper.
But I can not copy from vim to clipboard. I used "+y or "*y. But this did not work on. I can use copy/paste of konsole, Ctrl + Shift + C/V instead. But this is inconvenient because I use line number settings in vim. So how can I copy to clipboard? ![]() |

I used to use vim all the time and as far as I know there is no other way of copying text from vim unless you highlight and copy from konsole. But if I'm wrong someone please correct me.

Thank you so much, Hans!
I solved this problem. My vim had -xterm_clipboard not +xterm_clipboard. So I installed vim-gui-common package. Then xterm_clipboard was enabled. I can use "+y key. Thanks! |
