I have enabled kate's CTags Plugin, and sure enough I have a CTags menu at the top and a CTags button at the bottom. Generating the database file seems to work, But I don't seem to be able to use its functionality at all. The drop-down menu that appears on right-click does not include ctags (as I believe it is supposed to), and selecting any of the options from the CTags menu at the top does nothing at all.

Any idea what I might be doing wrong? I have Kate 3.4.5 (newly installed from the Ubuntu 10.04 repository), and KDE Platform 4.4.5.

Any help much appreciated. I was just starting to fall in love with Kate when I hit this.
