Greetings.
Just a few minutes ago I have changed my local time in -1 hour and just when I applied Choqok showed up an error saying "timestamp out of bounds". Since then I can't use Choqok anymore even when I change back my system time again. Every time I try to set my twitter account by clicking the authentication button nothing happens. There's no PIN number window. After some seconds it stops because of an out of time error and that's it. I have read that it is because OAuth that use timestamp as an authentication parameter but as I already changed back to the correct time what else can I do? Just in case I have rebooted my system after the time change. Thanks in advance! openSUSE 11.4, KDE 4.6, Choqok 1.0. |

Does restarting Choqok have any effect? Which service are you trying to use? (Identi.ca, Twitter, etc)

Thanks by your answer but finally I have Choqok working again. I had to set my twitter.com time zone to be equals to my local system time zone. This was a problem because of my country who delayed the winter time change.
I have read that OAuth has the time as an authentication parameter so a local time change is a parameter change. Can this thread mark as resolved?? |
