Hello
![]() I really love KDE, but i have problems with the SSH-FTP-Dialog. I'm using SSH-Keys for connections and it should be properly configured. (~/.ssh/id_rsa and ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub). It works perfectly via console. After opening a connection with sftp://name@host:port/ KDE opens the "SFTP Login" dialog and asks for Username and Password. But sometimes the "Passphrase for private key:" doesn't shown up and i need to input Username and Password. While using the connection, KDE asks for the Password many times. Not sure why... The ssh-agent is running, not sure whats wrong. Thanks |

Ok, can you please ensure that your public key file is of a valid format, and is readable to your user?
Also, does normal ssh utilise your ssh-agent?

Yeah, it's readable and working:

Is the SFTP io slave even detecting your ssh-agent? If it is, it will probably have the Username field greyed out (with the text similar to "Enter password for /home/foo/.ssh/id_rsa:" in it)
If it isn't, it will have your regular Username in it.
