How could I print a PDF preview opened with ark directly?

Not quite sure what you mean. If you mean print the contents of a file opened with Ark, the only way I can think of is to make a screenshot of it and print that. It you want to open a PDF, try Okular rather than Ark as a PDF isn't compressed in a sense which Ark understands.

you need to extract the pdf to print it - the Ark preview function doesn't have any print option (for any file types). If you think this capability is needed you could post it on the brainstorm forum or as a wish list request on bus.kde.org
