Hi,

When on Gnome I can click on a password protected archived (zip) text file. It opens in the editor (gedit) and I can edit it. When I save it I'm asked if I want the archive updated accordingly. This is a very convenient way to work. On KDE I when I click on an archive in Ark it's opened in a preveiw where I can't edit the file. I have to unpack the file, Then open it in Kate, edit, save and then pack it again. Not convenient at all. Is there a way I can get Ark to open packed files in the associated application and have the archive update after it has been edited? Or maybe there's some other piece of software I can use in place of Ark?
