automticly save files

Fri Sep 02, 2011 11:56 pm
When I open a libreoffice document and write something and for some reason I restart KDE and forget to save my document... KDE startups again and opened my libreoffice document that I didn't save perfectly with the same state before I restarted!!

Is this also possible with kate? When I open a new kate document en restart KDE, I must save this document before it will restart my kde or computer. I want the same features as I have with libreoffice, that KDE will restart without questions and open kate with the state I left it when I startup again.

You are best to make a feature request to the Kate developers to implement XSMP compliant session saving support in Kate.
