The "Import" button should also do the equivalent of the console command

kjotsmigrator --interactive

to import the old local .book files in ~/.kde4/share/apps/kjots
it sounds like your old books must be in under ~/.kde4/share/apps/kjots or under ~/.kde/share/apps/kjots depending on your distribution

please post if this works

BrunoG - I installed Kjots (first time) and got 3 "local notes" ("notes locale" in Fr) and 2 notes, so this may just be the default set up. I have no idea the difference between notes and "local notes", but I don't use Kjots

Hello google01103!

I had to go through your suggestion a few times before everything ran stable, deleting every Kjots related config-file and resource in the process. Running kjotsmigrator manually again - now it works for me.

Maybe just after upgrading to 4.7.3? - not sure though ...

thx for reading,
