theres a command for Mac OS called osascript, and i was wondering if there was a command similar for linux any takers?


the woman in black fled accross time and the Gunslinger followed...

Have you looked at Python/Bash/Ruby scripting?

If you pass the -e option to perl at least, it will execute the script you give.

However, these are seperate scripting languages in their own right - and will have different syntaxes.
