Hi, I use KDE World Clock (kworldclock) in collaborating with my globally-strewn colleagues. I want to add a "clock" to my list of displayed "clocks" that represents Zulu/UTC (GMT) time, but it doesn't seem to be included in kworldclocks configuration. Here's version info..
Qt: 3.3.6 KDE: 3.5.5 KDE World Clock: 1.5 Might this be remedied in a newer version of kworldclock (one of these days I'll get around to upgrading this system)? Or, if not, how might I submit this as a suggestion/bug to the developer(s) ? Update: note that Western European Time (WET), which is what London/Greenwich is on, is different than Zulu/UTC (GMT) time, even though they are essentially congruent during part of the year (fall/winter). See.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_European_Time http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coordinated_Universal_Time thanks,

I see that you are running KDE 3. at the moment there will be no more future releases of KDE 3, as all development effort is based on the KDE 4 versions of those applications ( or their replacements ). Also there should be a UTC / GMT time zone, check near the top.

thanks for your reply. Sure, no worries, I understand that. I'll eventually be migrating etc.
Actually, I don't see one in the selection of TZs -- near the top is "Africa/Abidjan". For Europe, there's no "Europe/GMT" or "Europe/UTC". Anyway, I'm just hoping that such a UTC / GMT time zone either already is there in newer versions of kworldclock, or gets added in. I also suspect it'd be possible to add it to this v1.5 that I have -- e.g. in a config file -- if someone could clue me into how to go about it. thanks, |

hm... and why are you using 3.5.5, since it's now 3.5.10, there's plenty of bug fixes on the new versions. maybe the timezone is included (not sure) on the newer versions.
Rocs developer. (and no, i'm not proud of it)
