Works for me, I tried .kexi files so far.

Please report any difficulties and ideas.

Im testing and it seems very fast. But does the app image include the postgres driver? I only see the option for mysql.

Also when downloading the files for some reason it was not downloading with Firefox. I had to use the good old terminal using wget.

The download using Firefox works OK for me but your physical location may be different. Use whatever works, wget or KGet can work too. It's not our hosting after all.

The link downloads fine now using Firefox. After going to another web page to download some files I kept getting the same problem.

So after doing some research to diagnose the problem, It turns out I needed to reset the browser download settings.

From time to time new snapshots will appear in the folder linked on the wiki page. For now we have no email notifications but I think it would be a popular feature. Also in the future Kexi would inform about new versions or even gently update in the background.

Those would be killer features indeed.

Update for you all, for your convenience: On the https://community.kde.org/Kexi/Snapshots page the DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION link now leads to a kexi-latest-x86_64.AppImage file. It is always updated newest available Kexi snapshot! E.g. today it's synonymous to a kexi-git20170314-x86_64.AppImage version.

Update: all builds after kexi-git20170324-x86_64.AppImage look broken. I would not advice to try them, correct file shall be about 180MB. Reported at https://github.com/appimage-packages/kexi/issues/11, waiting for resolution.

As always, a note, the files are not built by the Kexi team but contributed externally.

If you can, while reporting issues please make sure if problems exist also for packaged Kexi versions or for AppImage versions only. One example AppImage-specific bug is https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379074 ( https://github.com/appimage-packages/kexi/issues/10 ).
