How to Add Column to Existing Table

Wed Mar 21, 2012 5:46 pm
Has any way been developed, for adding columns to an existing table?

I am currently using Kexi 1.1.3 of KDE 3.5.10, in my Ubuntu 9.40, and would be willing to install a later version if needed, in order to add this feature.

Hi, here's some info: http://kexi-project.org/wiki/wikiview/i ... xiFAQ.html. Nothing new in this area in Kexi 2. This is a high-priority task for us.

Alternative, tedious but mouse-clicks-only way many people practice is exporting to a CSV file, importing the CSV into a spreadsheet, adding column(s) there, exporting to a CSV file and importing into Kexi. Instead of saving to files, if the data is not 100s of megabytes, you can use clipboard instead of files too.
