Latest Kexi on Mac OS X?

Wed Apr 04, 2012 11:23 pm
Hello,

On the Kexi website it is stated that you can obtain binary builds via Fink. However, the package there is years old, and still at the 1.x version.

Can anyone provide concrete tips/suggestions on how to find the latest builds of Kexi for Mac OS X? If they don't exist, can anyone provide some pointers on how to compile it for OS X 10.6.8?

Thank you so much.

Hi, I can only redirect you to this page for now:

http://community.kde.org/Mac#Getting_Help

Of course Calligra is technically prepared to run on Mac and even look and behave natively. But this effort needs motivated developers. Quite a few KDE devs, including Calligra ones probably no longer owns a (current) Mac (or just uses it as a shell for running a Linux OS).

I see, oh well. I managed to get KDE to build on my Mac with MacPorts, but was not able to get any KDE apps to run at all.....

So I will stick with LibreOffice Base for now.

Thanks for your response, though!
