Palette background color in text editor does not work

In form design mode, the palette background color in the text editor cannot be changed. It's always white unlike in the text boxes where one can change the color. Is this fixed in 2.5? Also, how does one set the palette background in the text boxes to transparent?

Thanks for the info. This is a bug, now confirmed and reported at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=309274.

Transparency is not supported at the moment, a bug reported at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=309276.
