Hello out there,

I am new in touch with KDE and so I am looking around in Calligra. Now I've found Kexi, and think there is a tool for ideas, I had in former times.
Now I'm looking around for a posibility to fill in data to more than one tables. My project in the moment is a database for the recipies from my wife. So I have to tables, one for the head-data and one for the incedrients. A third table for actions to do will come.
There should now be one form with head-data, incredients and actions, but I couldn't find a possibility in Kexi to make subforms as I know from MS Access or LibreOffice Base...

Thanks for reading my bad english an any help!

Hello Vizax,
Thanks for your interest. The topic was covered on this forum already (viewtopic.php?f=221&t=107098) and subforms are still not available in Kexi because of limited "budget". I am assuming this will change for better.

One-many relationships are present in Kexi table views and forms (as comboboxes), of course they are not replacement for subforms but at least give some relational features.

PS: You can search for "subforms" in the search box above to see more related discussions.
