Is there a way to have an icon on a form which when clicked will pop up a date picker for an adjacent data field?

Such a popup isn't available (I would be grateful for a wish at http://bugs.kde.org/).

Since Kexi 2.5 there's Date Picker: see here. It works with date type. I know it takes a lot of space so a popup could be often better.
