On kubuntu. Created table successfully but when I try to add a field the properties do not appear. I have read the bug report which is marked as solved. Talks about a namespace. How do I solve the problem. Thanks for your assistance.

Thanks for asking. It's exactly about this bug (regression), present in Kexi 2.7.2 and older: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=323804
On this page I noted 2.7.3 and newer has it fixed, i.e. it's available for distributions since October 11. You can contact your distributor for update of Kexi.
