I have defined a field in a table which is to hold the date the last time the record was updated. The field is set as a date field. Is there a way to get this field filled in with the current date automatically?
Also I have this date shown in a form. Is there a way to make this field unmodifiable on the form? Good work all in making Kexi! Scott |

Hi Scott,
Setting default value to a function (here: Now()) is not supported. Once it's supported you can set "Read Only" property to true and the text box will be unmodifiable. This property is already supported. It would help if you report the wish at https://bugs.kde.org. Thanks. |

Hello Mr. Staniek,
Didn't know if this was implemented or not so I had to ask. Seems I can't get into the bug tracking so awaiting a password reset. On the form I set the focus Policy to no policy and that seemed to take care of form changing the field. Also set read-only as well. |

@Scott188: If you do not receive a password reset email, you may need to contact sysadmin or register another account as I note you are registered on the forum using a mail provider which has been known to blacklist numerous kde.org servers for unknown reasons.
