I just glance, throuqh Neonproject, at the Kexi under development, hoping to see something concerning scripts. On the contrary I saw that the script icon had disappeared. I asked some times ago to be able to launch an external script. Just that would be highly appreciated.

Hi Robert,
Kexi and Calligra got a new product configuration system at build time in 2.7. Lack of scripting enabled by default means that distributors did not add them in 2.7.x. In 2.6.x and earlier scripting is available.

I noticed this and fixed on 2013-12-07. It's part of Kexi 2.8 beta 2 and later. I am sorry for the problem.

PS: As most of us know, current scripting is experimental so it is not guaranteed to have it in the future in the same form.

Update in the topic. Experimental scripts will be back in Kexi 2.8.1, they are still missing in recently shipped 2.8.0.
