COUNT in queries

Thu Apr 17, 2014 4:55 am
I'm sorry, but, how to do a COUNT query ?
Is there a possibility to copy and paste queries and forms , to save work ?
Thank you, very much !

Hi, COUNT and other aggregations are so far not supported in Kexi.

PS: one topic per post please :)

Yes we all need it. Simple but useful approach could be a Summary Row: http://images.appleinsider.com/bento-preview-6.png

(more info for FieleMaker: http://appleinsider.com/articles/07/11/ ... or_leopard)

Now we need to find a sponsor for this project. Yes, time is also resource that comes from sponsors like me :).
If this succeeds, the feature can even come to Kexi 2.9.

For future reference, the wish ticket is at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=195360
Vote for it! (in case a developer suddenly decides to sort his to-do list by votes)

Well, is my first time in the forum. I tried to vote, but I couldn't: the page told me that I have a wrong username or password.

I have been following Kexi since a long time ago, and if Kexi aspire to be the alternative to MSA, this kind of mathematical functions are mandatory.

Otherwise, congratulations, the database is reliable, easy to manege and stable. I only miss a deeper and more extensive manual for beginners.

Sincerely,

Pastor.

@pastorgomez Yes and yes. Regarding pro manuals maybe commercial ones would fill the gap. Krita does it quite OK for example.
