Kexi crash on shutdown

inksi Registered Member Posts 77 Karma 0 OS	Kexi crash on shutdown Thu May 01, 2014 2:05 pm Hi, Kexi does crash every time that I close. Can you confirm that this is what I have hit? I used the DebugFull option as was suggested. Debugging options. The default debug setting is RelWithDebInfo which is suitable for most developers. If you are debugging an application and cannot trace the codew, you can set CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE to "DebugFull" to get a slower Calligra but with even more verbose debugging (backtrace) information. For this replace -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=RelWithDebInfo in the above cmake command with -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=DebugFull. However, all Calligra applications will crash on closing with this option enabled. I see this detail showing on the Crash Handler Code: Select all `Executable: kexi PID: 9671 Signal: Segmentation fault (11)dler` That is ok on my dev machine. On the last install for a production machine I did set 'RelWithDebInfo' and have heard nothing about closing crashes. regards Ian

I recommend the same for any developers who write code.
