Hi there. This is my first post.
I have decided to move a spreadsheet into a kexi database file, since it's becoming too heavy and it doesn't have many formulas. However, I still need to include some basic formulas and conditional formats in my database. Is that possible for a non-expert like me? It seems not... |

Weclome to the Kexi forums, squintero.
1. In databases we use expression and references to table columns in queries instead of spreadsheet formulas. This is a difference a bit explained in the Kexi Handbook: http://userbase.kde.org/Kexi/Handbook. We lack most of the functions that spreadsheets have, currently even summing is not exposed in the graphical interface of Kexi. 2. Conditional formatting is a cool thing to add in future Kexi. I would like to ask you to add a suitable wish or wishes at http://bugs.kde.org, it's a great way to start helping us grow. |
