I noticed that when I use my MS Access database, I can cut and paste different tables into a document or worksheet. However, the same Kexi database(converted from mdb format) does not seem to have same functional ability. I can right-click on the kexi table, but only get "Open", "Design", "Export", "Rename" and "Delete". Can this functionality be used the same way as done in Access?

Hi nathangant! Thanks for your question. Export is the right shot: ![]() The original reason why it's called Export is that this particular copying is special; you're offered with a number of options. So this is more like "Copy Special" command. ![]() If you did not spot this action easily it's probably too much hidden. I'd address this with our usability team. Most probably "Copy Special..." action is better. Thoughts? |
