It seems that the default page unit for Kexi's report mode is centimeters. I work in inches. Whenever I add an item other than "line" to a report, the measurement appears in centimeters. Since all of the other units on the page are in inches(which I prefer), it becomes difficult to align items that are measured differently on the same page. I have to go back and change the page unit for this particular item by clicking on the little rectangle in the upper left side of the design mode report and then change the page unit (which is already in inches for the other items on the page but not for the new added item) to centimeters, then back to inches. I have to do this for every item (except for "lines") that I add to the report. Another way of changing the new item's page unit is to close Kexi then reopen it. Is there an easier way that will make all of the items in the report the same unit? This happens for any new item added or copy and pasted into the report. Lines always appear in inches and are not affected.
