I"ve been having trouble importing csv files which were generated from LibreOffice Calc (4.2.7.2) into Kexi (2.8.1). Some of the columns are out of alignment or duplicated. Is this a known problem? I haven't had the same problem with Gnumeric or Calligra Sheets.

No idea about the issue. But LO's current version is 4.3.6 (stable) or 4.4.2 (fresh). Perhaps you try to update first since a lot of work has been done recently.

Hi wmae,
The csv import is a solid, widely used feature. Knowing a sample for which Kexi misbehaves for you would be the first step to help you. Please send me (staniek at kde.org) the original csv file and options you have picked in the import dialog (a screenshot can be ok). Regards! |

hi,
today and only today I had a problem importing a table (ods) into kexi. Don't know why kexi told me, the table was empty. It was not! So I opened the file with sheets and stored it, Then the import was ok. This is certainly not helpfull for the LO-problem, but conception "B". Albrecht

@awill Please create new threads instead of adding to existing ones. I think your and wmae's case are two rather separate cases.
