fields in indexcards and groups

Tue Apr 21, 2015 7:13 pm
Hi,
it seems a little bit tricky to combine fields with groups and indexcards (re-translated from german "Karteikarte"). Mostly fields are covered by groups and indexcards and got invisible. When I tried a long time, fields can bee seen. But I don't know why? What is the system from it?

Hi,
after updating Kexi to 2.9.2 the yet existing group-elements worked fine. But a new group made again trouble until it was ok. What is the trick.

Hi,
I made a group and wanted the center the Titel. Kexi crashes. Next time there was no crash. But the same problem that a group covers the fields.

Please look always to fritz. But I think I must look at the background in the properties.
Next time inserting a group, no covering,
but again a crash, when I want to change "center" for the titel.

At least please use imgur.com or similar places for screenshots. We work in the public :)

More explanation needed here I think :)

but again a crash, when I want to change "center" for the titel.

Hi,
its a pitty, till now I found less explantion for many tools ... But I was learning by doing.
The problem of this thread is solved:
You must place a desired field upon the groups and frames. Thats it!

The many crashes occur sometimes here and there while changing preferences. But Kexi doesn't loos datas, fine!
