I was excited to see scripting capabilities with Kexi, so I thought I'd give it a go ...
After flipping through several flavors of Linux (I am currently using openSUSE Tumbleweed) so I could get a current distro of Calligra installed (I am at 2.9.6), I do not find the Script Manager under the Tools menu item as documented here - http://www.kexi-project.org/wiki/wikivi ... dbook.html Is there a specific install of kexi that I am missing? Other required packages that aren't being flagged? Thanks, Blaine |

Scripting is enabled by default, unfortunate combination of things happened here * The above is a development wiki page for Kexi 1.0, not a Kexi 2.0 Handbook (volunteers needed to migrate it to http://community.kde.org/Kexi) * Scripts are marked experimental in Kexi < 3.x Please forgive. In Kexi 2.0 scripts are accessible in the Create tab: https://www.calligra.org/kexi/attachmen ... rt-design/ Good news: script are going to be first-class feature in 3.x Also in forms, reports, and I hope elsewhere. This will be JavaScript language only as this is the only option with sane level of security. (yes, Python devs gave up on the idea of sandbox) |

Thanks. That explains my confusion.
Sorry to hear about abandoning Python. Blaine |
