How can I use SQLite as the database?

How can I use SQLite as the database? Thu Aug 20, 2015 2:16 am How can I use sqlite as my database? I installed Kexi 2.8.x on Ubuntu with apt-get and out of the box I don't see any choices for sqlite when creating a new project.

PS: note, not all SQLite files are accepted by Kexi until this challenge is completed: https://www.bountysource.com/teams/kexi/fundraiser.
