The current date picker is nice, but takes up way too much space in a form. A pop-up combo-box pop-up calendar like this would be nicer. Maybe a button next to the date in the table view for a pop-up calendar, too?

Hi flightsixteen,
Very good idea, I see you also commented on the wish page:

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=153097

If date-picker is not required the current workaround is to use text boxes. Input mask are guessed for Data, Date/Time and Time types based on the current locale.

The date picker has been broken in my forms for a while. You can toggle from record to record and it will eventually save the chosen date, but its annoying.
