Hi,
I started a new database in the usual way of creating a table and editing it. Here I only find the data-typ "date/time". But I need only the typ "time". In the right property-table there is a sub-property of "date/time" = "time". Unfortunately it is not persistent. So I found no way, to create time-fields. If I go path "B", I create a table with LO, create a column (field) with "time" an write into it for example "15:00". Importing this as cvs, kexi recognizes the field really as "time" (not date/time !) but finally the import ends in a date.

Thanks Albrecht. Confirmed, changed the topic a bit because it's about tables.
We need this reported to bugs.kde.org. Regarding the "Importing this as cvs, kexi recognizes the field really as "time" (not date/time !) but finally the import ends in a date" I am importing CSV file as the example below and the column is of time type (even if no subtype is visible in the designer). So this is a workaround. 5:00 17:12 Another workaround is to use date/time and just ignore date. |

By the way, the defect with time type is fixed in Kexi 3 beta.

Hi Jaroslaw, what a relief!
I did't want to annoy, but it was important for me. I filed the bug under 363068 at 2014-05-14. But nothing happend. Now I hope to get the latest version soon. Albrecht

I think it was 20 days ago, not in 2014 Anyway, I am busy to have a big leap to KEXI 3, we can't keep version 2 infinitely.
