Hello,
I wish to migrate to linux. Until now everything is great, ok or nearly ok. It remains MSACCESS... I love this and I use it a lot for myself and my bussiness. I've just begin to test Kexi. I don't see the "inserting fields" display when forms are in design mode. what's wrong? My PCs are on Linuxmint cinamon 18.2 32bits and 64bits. Thanks for Kexi until now and thanks in advance for answers. |

There is no convenient list of fields for drag-and-drop in the Designer. What you need to do: insert desired widget type (text box, mulitiline editor, other editor or even label, then click the Data Source tab assign the source.

Hello,
I see here http://kexi-project.org/screenshots.html V1.1 give this possibility and also on movie example. In "my" Kexi 2.9.7, it's like this: http://pix.toile-libre.org/upload/original/1504696859.png Is this option has been canceled? Thanks. |

You have good eye It was in 1.x: http://kexi-project.org/pics/1.1/propeditor_groups.png Yes it's been removed in 2.0 due to some technical issues. We hope to have it back in 3.2 or later as it's natural and convenient feature. The same feature will be also good for Reports. Cheers. |
