I'm a novice in databasee and I'm using Kexi for the first time. I have this problem: I have created a simple table with some fields. In the table I introduced some data. Now I have to add a field but, when saving the structure, tells me that all the data in the table will be deleted. Is it normal or am I am doing somothing wrong?

Hello, Sorry to say, this is a feature not present in current KEXI, details are covered at viewtopic.php?f=221&t=132264 for example.

People have some workaround by exporting table to a CSV file making the change in a spreadsheet and importing back.
Or using SQLite (or MySQL/PostgreSQL) editors, but the latter is more complex.
