I can only open projects when I'm only in the "welcome" menu
How to open a copy or other *.kexi file?

make intall

I did not find to install the beta version

3.2 sources would be available in February if we do not encounter a bug that needs more time for fixing.

Speed up updating varies from distribution to distribution and also version. It can be week or more, but LTSes can even refuse to update. In this case update the OS first. Please be in contact with them.

I found a method and I proceed this way:
I create a symbolic link on the desktop this way:

ln -s /home/xyz/.local/share/kexi/recent_projects/mabase.kexis /home/yxz/Desktop/mabase.kexis

and after I can open mabase.kexi by clicking on the shortcut that is on the desktop.
