Would it be possible to integrate a feature that would make backups? and of course to restore

Currently I proceed this way:
I make a copy of the Kexi project in progress

cp mybase.kexi mybase.kexi.bak

If I encounter a problem, I replace the kexi project with the copy

cp mybase.kexi mybase.kexi.old
cp mybase.kexi.bak mybase.kexi


But it would be a lot easier and safer if it was built into the Kexi interface

That is indeed useful feature. Specialized subset is table backups: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=306270
Please check out the wiki page linked there. Versioning individual objects or "restore points" is possible to implement in technologies such as SQLite.
