Hello, query views are readonly in KEXI for now. If the form is based on query it is also readonly.

Thanks for yr answer, though disappointing.
I understand all forms to input should be based on tables? |

That's right for now, use tables.
Bottom line is, what you see as editable query e.g. in MS Access is in fact a function of SQL view, which for a long time was unsupported in SQLite. Plain queries would be read-only in MS Access as well, I believe. KEXI started to use SQLite in 2004. The change is planned like many others. |

Thanks fr yr reaction. Is there a way to select a record based on a query and find the underlying record and send that to a form (based on the table) in order to edit that specific record?

For now, to select such record one needs to move cursor to any unique column such as ID and open Find dialog. Then enter the unique value. This is inconvenient but works reliably.
