Hi,
Just created a new Manjaro machine, all updated, with Kexi 3.2.0-1. The 'tape deck' control for first/previous/next/last/new record changing is not there (or cannot be seen) at the bottom of the page for an existing form. I have tried different colour schemes but nothing changes. No helpful-looking settings in Qt5 Config Manager. Running the same build on older but uptodate Manjaro machine shows the 'tape-deck' controls normally. Any helpful suggestion before I do something drastic like revert to Mint for this machine? Probably not a Kexi issue I know ... bestest Ian |

Hello Inksi,
For now I do not know a possible cause. Can you file a bug and provide a screen shot file there? |

Hello, Jaroslaw.
Ok, will post bug with screenshot but I am not assuming it is necessarily your bug. best Ian |

OK, this has been resolved.
![]() In short the issue is due to Manjaro using the bleeding edge version of Qt5 (5.14) with Kexi development proceeding on version (5.9.7 LTS) The initial solution was to install Kexi through flatpak https://community.kde.org/Kexi/Snapshots#Linux But this was problematic due to:
a terminal condition it seems (pun unintended). The final solution was to install Kexi from KDE's Discover which is packaged with Manjaro (may even get installed by default, I am not sure). This was successful, recommended highly if your Kexi fails on a new installation for some reason. best Ian |
