1. first, I installed kexi-master-1187-windows-msvc2019_64-cl.exe on my windows 10 64 bits, then I click the item kexi in start menu, but windows
says that no application is found. So I searched and found kexi-3.3.exe. I double clicked kexi-3.3.exe, nothing appears 2. Then I download kexi-master-1187-windows-msvc2019_64-cl.7z and decompress it. And run kexi-master-1187-windows-msvc2019_64-cl\bin\kexi-3.3.exe. There is still nothing appeared So what is the right way to use kexi on windows 10 64 bits? Or kexi is still not ready for windows user? |

Hi Oyster
KEXI is ready and used every day just fine, just use the released version (3.2.0) from the official links and not unreleased "testing" version (kexi-master). Installer for the latter may not (installer has nothing to do with the program itself). Correct paths are as follows: http://kexi-project.org/ -> Download Now -> "stable" https://community.kde.org/Kexi/Releases#3.2.0 Or http://kexi-project.org/ -> News section -> "KEXI 3.2.0 & Frameworks released with Windows installer and universal Linux/Windows nightly builds" -> "stable" https://community.kde.org/Kexi/Releases#3.2.0 One advice, install by using "Run as Administrator", Windows 10 so often blocks write access for the installer, what results in all or some files not installed. This applies to most software I install, no matter how professional or expensive, at least in my experience. I just reinstalled the KEXI 3.2.0 using the above instructions on Windows 10 64bit and it runs fine. Click kexi-3.2.exe. My Windows still blocked some writes so the start menu shortcuts were not created. In such case you'd need to create the shortcut on your own. I do confirm the testing versions (3.3) do not run, there must be something with the installer, which is not checked for some time. It is always tested prior to Beta releases at least. however there is no `script` button on my KEXI_3.2.0, while it is shown on https://userbase.kde.org/Kexi/Tutorials ... ebook_Data |

I am happy it runs for you.
Yes, scripts are mentioned here: https://community.kde.org/Kexi/Releases ... own_issues |
