Kexi dropdown lists

Sun May 29, 2022 12:48 am
Hello,
I am working on a database to emulate (sort of) Microsoft Money mostly for just my own use.
I'm really having problems trying to get dropdown lists to work.
I have the database and a transaction table with a form. I also have tables for
Payees (abt 50) and Categories (abt 50). I need to have dropdown iists appear on the form
to select the proper payee and category. I've tried lots of things...combobox etc. etc. Nothing seems
to be the right way to go about this, although I'm sure it's a common task.
I just need a little guidance to get me on the right track. Haven't actually found much on the Net either.
Thanks, Mac

Hello
I can possibly help you to use the combobox.
However Kexi doesn't have a sum() or ave() function and you won't be able to go much further.
