Hello,

I would like to know if Kexi is able to connect, i mean, use my Postgresql database with all the rules it has.

I saw I can import but I am not interested in that.

I would an interface for my Postgresql database, which enables me to make forms and reuse all the work that have been done on the database.

Can you help ?

Thanks a lot,

Hi Lukas,
I perfectly understand your case. Yes, it's typical.
Kexi cannot connect to existing databases created without Kexi, this is why it proposes importing. This is for now. We're going to move to Predicate, i.e. KexiDB-next-gen, preferably this year. One of its features will be ability to re-use existing databases, as much as possible.
