Dear all,
I am in the process of designing a few databases for use by our engineering company. One of the aims of these databases is to allow employees to quickly access relevant project files and folders from within the database. In MS Access this can be achieved by placing the desired directory into a field. This field can then serve as a hyperlink to the particular file or directory that is specified. Any help and/or guidance would be greatly appreciated as my dream is to migrate all our company systems into open source equivalents. Thanks for your time, Tim |

Dear Tim,
That's good idea but Kexi has no support for such links for now. Adding a wish "Add support for hyperlinks in forms, tables and reports" on bugs.kde.org would help. |

I too need to need to have hyperlinks in the same manner. Has there been any change since this was posted, Apr 03, 2011 8:36 am.

Since there's interest I pushed the task forward. It's formulated now in Wish #308832 (please vote) and Button hyperlinks design document.
