Dolphin and NFS mount points

Wed Jun 13, 2012 9:55 pm
I'm running (as far as I know) the latest KDE version on Kubuntu 11.10.

Dolphin version is version 2.0 on KDE 4.8.2.

Anyway, I've have some new NFS mount points under /media, that show up ok, BUT, with the name like /volume/nfsshare on nfs server on the Places Panel.

So my question is: is there any way to add/use a simpler name for this long name, something just like NfsShare ?

I gather that right clicking on the entry does not provide a rename option?
I suspect this may be set by the Solid FStab backend.
