I am going to patch Dolphin to support Emblems. Trying to compile dolphin from source now using cmake, but looks like cmake2.8 is not supported yet?
-brett- "The Gnome system to annotate the files in Nautilus depends on their inbuilt annotation system which they call "emblems". We need to provide a similar way to annotate the file icons based on their Dropbox status, preferably using an existing KDE system. If this is not possible then we need to implement the annotation framework and look for help from upstream." https://blueprints.launchpad.net/dropbox-kde/+spec/dolphin-emblems |

Is there a way i can just build Dolphin and not all kde-base-apps?
Seems like the cmake script should not be depending on finding cmake/modules/FindKDE4Internal.cmake in /usr/share/kde4/apps Looks like i need to "apt-get install kubuntu-desktop" to even compile?

After installing kubuntu-desktop I am still getting the same error
What gives? I found http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-software-2/findkde4internal-cmake-not-found-fixed-783544/ And tried to "apt-get install kde-devel" but there is no package by that name. I also tried kde4-devel, kde-dev, but to no avail. |

Have you installed the package that contains the kdelibs headers?
Note that implementing emblems is probably quite a complex task. If you want to contribute to Dolphin, it might be a good idea to start with something easier. |

You need to install kdelibs5-dev, or if you want to get all the deps for building kde-baseapps:

If you just want to build Dolphin, you need to configure the entire kde-baseapps package, but then cd into dolphin/ and run make there. All other parts will be skipped.
