KDE-4.9.0.

Since testing 4.8.97, the Places panel are now populated by extras mentioned above. Although this may actually be beneficial to some extent, is there a way to hide or revert back to the way dolphin was ... at least in 4.8.3? Thank you for any information.

Which entries in particular are you looking to hide?

In particular, the Recently Accessed and Search For lists.

From the screenshot, the left panel looked very crowded and can no longer resize when the main window is adjusted.

I would be happier to toggle off the two sections - Recently Accessed and Search For.

If you right click on each of the entries under those two, you should be offered the option to hide them. I am not sure if this will work however, based on a reading of the code...

Thank you. Not a tedious task but not very innovative. At least those entries are now hidden.

Much oblige.
