Dolphin and Konqueror will res-up preview images for image files that are smaller than the preview size. This is relatively new behaviour.
Is there any way to have them display 1:1 if the image is smaller than the preview (old behaviour)? I work with tons of small icon files for web development and having them stretch is not a good option. Thanks! |

Problem affects both Konqueror and Dolphin. |

It's like that since 4.8. There were a small number of complaints, so Peter added a hidden option for that (hidden because the use case you describe has been considered a corner case). In your dolphinrc file, add below the [General] section:
EnlargeSmallPreviews=false |
