Do you mean the toolbar button that appears when you hide the menu bar with Control+M?

yes, this it it , you got it !
is there another way to find it ? (when you have it On if you click the last item in the menu, which hides the menu, without noticing the keyboard shortcut you're stuck)

You can always toggle the menu bar visibility even without the Ctrl+M shortcut.
If the menu is visible, you can hide it with "Show Menubar" in the "Settings" menu. If it is hidden, you can bring it back by clicking the "Control" toolbar button and then "Show Menubar". |

oh, but i 've also added a top panel on the desktop, i guess it's hiding the menubar for cliking the "Control" toolbar button and then "Show Menubar" only make disappear the "Control" toolbar button .
