In the "Details view mode" (which I use here almost exclusively), when a file is marked only the title/name is marked but not whole line, ie. the other attributes. This makes the view sometimes (unnecessary) unclear.

IMHO it would be good if the background of the whole line would change, it shouldn't be so bold as with the filename, but a little distinctive change.

Since I couldn't find anything in brainstorm or bko. Is there already a wish filled? Otherwise I would fill one...

cheers

I'm not aware of any such wish at the moment. Feel free to discuss the idea on Brainstorm.

bugs.kde.org is IMHO completely unsuitable for the discussion of ideas how to change/improve the application (only very few users comment on ideas there, you cannot paste screenshots, you cannot vote against an idea, etc.: basically everything that is very good about KDE Brainstorm works very poorly in the bug tracker). Moreover, in its current state with more than 500 reports, it is completely unusable and a big source of frustration for everyone (including myself). Considering how much time it takes to write a useful comment on a user's idea and how often I get insulted when I try to point out why a certain idea does not make much sense, I currently have very little motivation to spend my free time reading wishlist reports at bugs.kde.org at all - I prefer to fix bugs instead ;)

I will think about ways to make the "discuss new ideas" process less painful for everyone, but the only solution that I can see right now is to close bugs.kde.org completely for wishlist reports and use KDE Brainstorm instead.
